Sudanese American Physicians Association is a not-for-profit, scientific professional, non-partisan, and humanitarian membership-based organization (under incorporation) for all Sudanese physicians in the United States of America.
Formal members have significant input in the governance and operations of the organization by electing all board of directors and executive committee associates. They are encouraged and expected to play an active role in the design and impregnation of the organization’s programs.
Elected board and executive committee associates need to be able to leave their personal and professional agendas behind and make decisions only for the best of the entire organization.
Although SAPA was established with many goals in mind, it recognizes the current situation in Sudan. SAPA is committed to devote all its effort and resources to support the Sudanese people during this critical chapter of their history. We strongly support the Sudanese people’s peaceful movement for democracy and social justice. SAPA strongly supports and collaborates with the legitimate Sudanese Doctors Union in Sudan.
