Two Beautiful Countries Lost More Than 50,000 People

They’ve Been Left Without Homes, Food, and Warmth

The United Nations stated that at least 1,5 million people have been made homeless, and 500,000+ homes will need to be rebuilt because of the two major earthquakes striking the same place within the same day. Currently, 865,000 people are living in tents, 23,500 in container homes, and 376,000 in student dormitories. 3 weeks after the earthquakes, there are still people without shelter or proper access to basic necessities.
