SAPA's Efforts to Fight Hunger & Malnurishment in Sudan

The SAPA Sudan Hunger Relief Program combats food insecurity in conflict-affected Sudan through food distribution, strategic partnerships, and sustainable initiatives for a brighter future.

Food Distribution

In Tawila, North Darfur, SAPA delivers 4,000 meals daily to families displaced by war, many from the devastated Zamzam Camp. At the heart of this effort is a community kitchen in Al-Omda, powered by displaced mothers and local women preparing meals with dignity and care.

Every meal helps protect against malnutrition, strengthens immunity in children, and brings stability to families in crisis.

Strategic Partnerships

In the past, we have joined forces with organizations like “Kids Against Hunger Sioux Falls,” “Helping Kids Round First,” and “Then Feed Just One,” which helped in the successful distribution of hundreds of thousands of fortified meals to children in Port Sudan’s shelters and host communities. We also work closely with local NGOs and community leaders.

Sustainability Efforts

Our commitment extends beyond addressing immediate hunger; we’re dedicated to creating lasting change. We promote agricultural practices, educate communities, support local farmers, and empower individuals to ensure food security and break the cycle of hunger, uplifting communities for the long term. We also provide food to masses through our kitchens in Zam Zam and in Khartoum.
