We are deeply saddened to share the news of the passing of Mr. Ahmed Mohamed Salih Sayidna, Manager of SAPA’s Hope Oasis Center for Children in Zamzam. He died on the evening of April 13 after being injured in the shelling of El Fasher by the Rapid Support Forces (RSF). Mr. Ahmed was a kind and dedicated man who gave so much of himself to support displaced children in Zamzam Camp. His loss is heartbreaking to all who knew him and worked with him. Mr. Ahmed was also a respected figure in media and cultural work and a deeply committed humanitarian in North Darfur. We grieve with his family and all who were touched by his life.
