Emergency Relief

Medical Emergency Relief

The Sudanese American Physicians Association (SAPA) continues its efforts on the ground saving lives in the SAPA-operated Al Nada Hospital in Omdurman-Khartoum. It is one of only two hospitals in the area that provide natural and cesarean delivery services as well as pediatric care. To lift the financial burden off of civilians, the provided services are free of charge for patients.

What SAPA advocates for

In response to the wave of displacement from Khartoum state due to the current events in the city of Wad Madani, the Sudanese American Physician Association (SAPA) in collaboration with the College of Medicine at Al Jazeera University have established a health center to provide essential care to displaced immigrants. Wad Madani is the second largest city in Sudan and it is where many Khartoum residents are fleeing to. The center offers family medicine, gynecology, obstetric, and pediatric medicine services.
